This Privacy Policy explains how TheCoolMagnet ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit or make a purchase from this site. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
- Order information: shipping address, billing address, order contents, and a transaction reference from our payment provider.
- Payment information: we accept payment in cryptocurrency through MoonPay Commerce. We do not collect or store card numbers, bank details, or wallet private keys.
- Usage data: pages visited, device/browser information, and approximate location, collected via cookies and analytics tools if enabled.
Blockchain transactions
Payments are settled on a public blockchain. This means the transaction amount, the sending wallet address, and the receiving wallet address are permanently recorded on a public ledger that anyone can view. We cannot edit, reverse, or remove blockchain records. Your name, email and shipping address are not written to the blockchain — they are stored only in our own systems.
How we use your information
- To process and fulfil orders, including sharing your shipping address with our fulfilment supplier(s) and carriers.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates, password resets).
- To send marketing emails, only if you opt in via our newsletter signup — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve the site through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
Who we share information with
We share the minimum information necessary with: MoonPay Commerce, our payment provider, to process and verify payment; our shipping suppliers and carriers, to fulfil your order; and our email and analytics providers, to operate the store. We do not sell your personal information.
